Why I teach
I spent 26 years doing the work — not advising on it from the outside. A decade of consulting, then directing engineering at Walmart Labs, building Prime infrastructure at Amazon, and leading 50-person teams at Google shipping products used by tens of millions of people daily.
When Generative AI arrived, I moved fast — building real systems, not evaluating them. Multi-agent systems in production: RAG pipelines, NL2SQL, Agent-to-Agent Orchestration, Agentic SDLC, and evaluation frameworks.
The one thing that compounded through all of it: learning velocity.
Every career inflection I've had came from compressing a learning cycle that others were content to let run for years. The leaders who grow fastest aren't the smartest — they're the ones who've built the most disciplined learning loops.
